It was established in 1995 by Stanford University graduates Larry Page and Sergey Brin. It was established as a search engine (BackRub) and later transformed into Google in 1998 after the company became fully registered, and the search engine was developed further. Later, Google ventured into other business enterprises such as web apps, maps, phones, news, translation, web analytics, calendars, google books, marketing, AI devices, and other tech goods and services. Currently, Google is offering AI-powered devices and technology as smart assistants for both adults and kids.
